The isolation and frustration of new parents.
A continuous issue for new parents is the struggle for them to find appropriate agencies and professionals to help them. Each year, one in four hundred children are born with cerebral palsy and parents with a newly diagnosed baby require help and patience to adjust to the problems of caring for a child with special needs. Our Association provides such a lifeline.
The Association provides this vital community link for more than 300 people and their families per year, our Home Visitior works on a one to one basis with members and their families as well as offering surgeries at our Monday and Wednesday groups.
We are currently only able to offer practical support for client families or indiviuals living in areas of Sheffield, Rotherham & Chesterfield.
We are happy to provide advice to anyone regardless of their location. Feel free to email, write or ring, see Contact Us.
